SUM nace del cruce entre la impresión de alta calidad y el trabajo artesanal. La marca necesitaba expresar esa dualidad con claridad: por un lado, precisión, confianza y resolución; por otro, cercanía, detalle y el valor de lo hecho a mano.
El logotipo parte de una estructura tipográfica clara y firme, que refuerza la idea de precisión y profesionalismo. Sobre esa base, la “U” incorpora un gesto más orgánico que remite al hilo, al recorrido manual y al universo de la encuadernación, sintetizando uno de los rasgos más propios de la marca.
SUM emerges from the intersection of high-quality printing and handcrafted work. The brand needed to express that duality clearly: on one side, precision, trust, and efficiency; on the other, warmth, detail, and the value of making things by hand.
The logotype is built from a clear and solid typographic structure, reinforcing the idea of precision and professionalism. On top of that, the “U” introduces a more organic gesture that evokes thread, manual movement, and the world of bookbinding, synthesizing one of the brand’s most distinctive traits.
